The Pevensie Scholarship: Application Form

Pevensie Scholarship | Summer Creative Writing WorkshopA full scholarship for one student coming to the Summer Workshop for the first time. This annual scholarship is the gift of an adult One Year Adventure Novel student who is passionate about teen writers experiencing the Summer Workshop that so impacted this student’s life.

The $716 scholarship covers:

• Student Registration ($345)
• Meal plan for one ($137)
• One spot in the Girls’ Dorm or Boys’ Dorm ($185)
• $49 to cover the Airport Shuttle ticket or gas, if the student will travel by car

To qualify, you must:

• Be 13–19 years old on June 8, 2020.
• Have a valid One Year Adventure Novel license.
• Be coming to the Summer Workshop for the first time.
• Not have already attended a Winter Workshop.
• Intend to eat in the cafeteria and stay on site in the Girls’ Dorm or Boys’ Dorm.

Application deadline: March 16, 2020
You will hear back from us by April 1, 2020.

Please be sure to also apply for a partial scholarship, in the event that you are not awarded The Pevensie Scholarship.

    These are requirements to apply for The Pevensie Scholarship. If you do not meet these requirements, you may be eligible to apply for the partial scholarships (see separate application form).

    Your answer to this question is just to help us understand how to apply the travel funds. Please note that you could travel by bus or train, but our shuttle service only runs between the workshop and the Kansas City International airport (code "MCI").
